Event Details

Gentle Yoga Flow: The day starts with an easy-to-follow Yoga Flow designed to awaken and move the body’s energy, bringing awareness inwards and preparing the mind to be present. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this class is tailored to suit all levels, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive experience for everyone.

Sound Healing: After this, Claudio will lead you through a deep guided relaxation with Sound Healing instruments. Immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls, gongs, and other melodic instruments. These transcendent sounds will harmonize your energy centers, balance your chakras, and promote deep healing on a cellular level. Surrender to the waves of sound and experience a profound release of tension, stress, and energetic blockages.

Silent Meditation: The journey continues with a 15 minute silent meditation where you’ll experience the profound power of silence as you quiet your mind, find inner stillness, and connect with the depths of your being.

Mantra Chanting: Claudio will lead you through 20 minutes of Mantra Chanting to open the heart. Mantras, passed down through generations, hold the keys to unlock hidden potentials within ourselves.
Mantras have the extraordinary ability to awaken dormant energies within, enabling personal growth, healing, and a profound transformation of the mind, body, and spirit.

Shared Kai: Finally, we wrap up the afternoon by treating our bodies with nourishing and delicious vegan and vegetarian lunch lovingly prepared by Claudio’s partner, Carrie.

About Claudio

Yoga Instructor, Sound Therapist, Musician and Sound Recording Artist

Claudio Escutia was born and raised in Mexico City and comes from a musician family.

Music has been part of his life from the very beginning of his journey. He started to study at the age of 12 with the drums and guitars his father had at home. When he finished music school as a classical guitarist he moved to Montreal Canada and explored new genres such a Jazz, World Music, and Spiritual Music. He also discovered Indian Music and Yoga and they became a very important influence on his career, lifestyle, and vision.

Traveling the world allowed him to study Music and Yoga with teachers in Europe and Asia. He explored many instruments and music styles such as Guitar, Sitar, Esraj, Bansuri, Harmonium, Flutes, and Voice, as well as Yoga Styles such as Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Nada Yoga, and Yoga Nidra.

While traveling in Kathmandu Nepal he learned the art of playing Tibetan bowls and Sound therapy, and this was the glue that brought together his passion for Music and Yoga.

After living and traveling through many countries, Claudio is now based in Wellington, New Zealand. He is an active Yoga teacher and shares his talents in his Concerts, Classes, Workshops, and Sound Healing sessions.

Claudio started to work as a professional sound recordist in 2020, he found a new passion for film making in Wellington. Read more about Claudio on his website here: https://www.claudioyogasound.com/
